High Risk Applicants

We understand empowerment by knowledge and believe in the universal right to education.

However, some applicants pose a higher risk and require more support based on a variety of factors. The recent crackdown on student visa around the world has led to increased scrutiny by universities as well as immigration control (Home Office in UK, State Department in the US).

In practice this means more work for us and applicants as well as potentially higher cost. The expanded fee schedule reflects these changes.

Thestreamingteacher has no control over changes to the risk factors; these are entirely decided by universities and immigration authorities.

  • UG applications, where the applicant is older than 27 years when study begins.
  • PG applications, where the applicant is older than 35 years when study begins.

  • Applicant has been denied a Visa from UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or Ireland before.
